There were two HbA1c tests done one week apart. The first result was 5.6, and the second result was 5.7. If I am prediabetic, please suggest what to do next. Can it be reduced below 5.7 without prediabetic medications?

An HbA1c of 5.7 percent is on the lower edge of prediabetes. This slight rise is not alarming but does call for lifestyle management. With proper diet, such as low carb, high fiber, regular exercise, weight control, and avoiding sugar, many people bring HbA1c back below 5.7 percent without medicines. Keep tracking it every 3 to 6 months.

Today, I received my blood test report, and my fasting blood sugar level is 107. This is the first time my sugar level has been high; two months ago, it was only 80. I am 30 years old and have been using some hormone medications for infertility over the past two months. What tests should I get done now, and does this mean I am diabetic?

I had an anomaly scan at 19 weeks and 4 days of pregnancy, and the report shows: Left lateral ventricle: 0.54 cm, Right lateral ventricle: 0.62 cm. Is there any problem with the baby brain? Umbilical artery RI: 0.75 (appears to be increased) Uterine artery RI: 0.7, with evidence of a dicrotic notch in both arteries The rest of the report is normal. Could you please advise if there is any concern with these findings?
