Is a urine pH of 7.5 in an early morning sample considered normal? What is the ideal or healthy urine pH range? Should I consider any dietary changes based on this result?
Answered by 1 Apollo Doctors
A pH of 7.5 is slightly alkaline and can be influenced by diet or hydration status. Unless you have symptoms like burning or frequent urination, this finding alone is not worrisome. No treatment needed unless other findings emerge.

View allI developed an infection after having unprotected sex with my girlfriend. I started experiencing a burning sensation while urinating and noticed yellow discharge from my penis. I got my discharge tested at a pathology lab, and the report states No gonococci seen, few gram negative cocco bacilli seen, and a large number of pus cells seen. Could you please explain what this means.
