Vidhi was diagnosed with anaemia by a local doctor. He prescribed Bizfer XT tablet and Zincovit tablet. After taking the medicines, she got fever and weakness. The local doctor then prescribed Rabeprazole gastro resistant tablet IP 20 mg and Macleods. But in the recent blood report, she is having RBCs showing mild hypochromic, microcytic.

This confirms iron deficiency anemia. Continue iron tablets with meals. If fever continues, rule out infection. Use antacids like rabeprazole if there is gastric irritation.
Dr. Bhanu Suggests...
Take a COMPLETE BLOOD COUNT (CBC) Test or Take a IRON STUDIES (IRON + TIBC) Test
