We got married last year in December, and my wife conceived in January, but unfortunately we had a miscarriage in May. After marriage, it took us about one year to conceive the first time, without any consultation. Since January, we have been trying to conceive again, following the fertile period method, but have not been successful. The doctor prescribed several tests, all of which were normal except for TSH, which was 6.38. She was prescribed Thyronorm and Folvite MB. I am enclosing my medical test report and would like to know whether everything is okay with the report. Also, the doctor advised maintaining a stress free relationship, but I am unsure why we are not conceiving despite everything being normal and trying during the fertile period. Please suggest.

Elevated TSH can impair fertility. Thyroid must be corrected (less than 2.5) before conception. Continue Thyronorm and retest. Please repeat TSH and Prolactin before next cycle.

Dr. Ezhilarasan Suggests...

Take a TSH Test (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) Test or Take a Prolactin Test Test
