We're planning to adopt a child and need to get a medical certificate for the adoption process with CARA. It should say we're not dealing with any chronic illnesses and are fit and healthy. We're wondering, should we go to a general physician or a gynaecologist for this? And what kind of medical tests are usually involved? Would really appreciate any advice.

Clove oil can be quite potent and potentially irritating, especially if used undiluted or in excess. The darkening of your lips and mouth, along with the skin peeling off, suggests a chemical burn or irritation.
Immediate Remedies
- Stop using clove oil: Discontinue using clove oil on your gums immediately.
- Curd or yogurt: Continue applying curd or yogurt to the affected area for its cooling and soothing effects.
- Aloe vera gel: Apply aloe vera gel to the affected area to help soothe and calm the skin.
- Coconut oil: Gently apply coconut oil to the affected area to help moisturize and protect the skin.
- Topical antibiotic cream: Apply a topical antibiotic cream, like Neosporin or Bacitracin, to the affected area to prevent infection.
Oral Care Alternatives
- Desensitizing toothpaste: Switch to a desensitizing toothpaste, like Sensodyne, to help alleviate gum recession.
- Saltwater rinse: Rinse your mouth with warm saltwater several times a day to help reduce inflammation and promote healing.
When to Seek Medical Attention
- Severe pain: If you experience severe pain or discomfort in the affected area.
- Increased redness or swelling: If the affected area becomes increasingly red, swollen, or inflamed.
- Pus or discharge: If you notice pus or discharge from the affected area.
- Fever: If you have a fever above 101.5F (38.6C).

View allI'm a bit worried and wanted to see if I can get your advice. My family doctor told me to take ivermectin even though I don't have COVID, and she suggested taking a second dose three days after the first one. She mentioned that I should do this every month. I'm not sure if it's okay to take ivermectin twice a month like this when I'm not even sick with COVID. Is this safe?
Ivermectin is typically used to treat parasitic infections, and its safety and efficacy for regular, monthly use without COVID-19 or parasitic infections are unclear; potential risks and side effects include gastrointestinal issues, allergic reactions, and interactions with other medications; consult a specialist or pharmacist to discuss the potential benefits and risks and determine if alternative treatments are available for your specific condition.

I'm really concerned about my father's health because for the past two or three days, he's been feeling 'komppan' in his entire body during the afternoons into the evenings. We're trying to understand what kind of issue this might be and which type of specialist we should see about it. We're based in Greater Noida NCR. Do you think we need to get a complete body health checkup done? Any advice would be appreciated.
The symptoms you described, where your father experiences generalized body aching (komppan) in the afternoons and evenings, could be indicative of various conditions, such as arthritis, fibromyalgia, or even a viral infection; consider consulting a General Physician or an Orthopedician in Greater Noida (NCR) for an initial evaluation; a complete body health checkup may be beneficial in identifying underlying conditions, and your doctor may recommend diagnostic tests, such as blood work, X-rays, or an ECG, to determine the cause of the symptoms.

I'm a bit puzzled about something. My Alkaline phosphatase level came back at 135. I've never had alcohol and I'm not experiencing any digestive or stomach problems. Is this level something I should be concerned about, or is it considered normal?
In summary, 135 IUL is not necessarily abnormal, but it's worth monitoring in consultation with your healthcare provider if you have any other symptoms or health concerns
