I'm really worried because my upper lips have become quite dark, and I'm not sure what would be the best thing to use for this. I'm trying to decide between melalumin lip lightening cream and lipzlite lip lightening cream. Which one would you recommend for better results?

I've noticed this dryness on the skin just above my upper lip and right below my lower lip. The weird thing is, my actual lips arent dry, just the skin around them. This is the first time its happened and I haven't had this kind of dryness before. There's no itching and the skin isnt peeling either. I wash my face about twice or three times a day, so I'm not sure what's causing it. Do you have any idea what might be going on, and how I can fix it? Plus, are there any ways to prevent it from happening again?
