I'm really concerned about the effects of masturbation and I'm curious about how I can stop it. I've been doing it for the past two years and it's starting to feel like an addiction. Can you help me understand more about this?

Masturbation is a natural activity, but if it feels like an addiction and interferes with daily life, it can have emotional and psychological effects, such as guilt, anxiety, or reduced energy. To reduce or stop, its important to focus on healthy coping mechanisms, like exercise, hobbies, and managing stress, while seeking support from a counselor or therapist if needed.

I'm really struggling with my zolpidem use after taking it for insomnia that started with the stress of marriage and moving. Now I can't seem to stop taking Zolfresh for almost any reason. If my husband is snoring, I take one. If I'm going to bed late, I just pop another. It's gotten to the point where I'm even using it for afternoon naps, taking 15 mg at night and 10 mg in the afternoon. I'm feeling stuck in this cycle. How can I break free from this?

I'm dealing with anxiety and panic attacks, especially when the phone rings out of the blue. It really freaks me out. My doctor gave me an antidepressant called Mitocent 30 mg to help with this. I'm a bit worried about any long-term side effects I might face if I keep taking it. Also, how long am I supposed to stay on this medication? I'd really appreciate any advice on how to handle this situation.

Mitocent (30mg) is an antidepressant commonly prescribed for anxiety, and while it can be effective in managing symptoms, long-term use may have potential side effects like weight gain or changes in sleep patterns. It's important to follow your doctor's guidance on the duration, and alongside medication, practicing relaxation techniques and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) can significantly help in managing anxiety and panic attacks.
