What should a person's oxygen saturation level be in the morning right after waking up? My dad's SPO2 is generally above 92 throughout the day, but it seems to dip to around 87 in the morning. Is this something normal, or should I be concerned?

View allI've had asthma for 15 years, and it's usually pretty mild. I've been using a Foracort inhaler 400 when needed. Lately, I've noticed that sometimes I feel like I'm breathing too fast and have some breathing issues, especially when I close my mouth. This only happens occasionally, and it's almost like I only notice it when I think about it. Also, just today, I started having a little dry cough and a slight irritation in my throat that feels bitter, but it's only when I cough. Should I be worried about these new symptoms, or is it just a passing thing? Would love your advice on what could be going on.

I've been feeling really unwell since I accidentally inhaled carbon monoxide from the stove while taking steam. I didnt realize that breathing in those fumes could be harmful, so I kept doing it three times a day for about two months. Now Im having symptoms like nausea, chest pain, shortness of breath, and an itchy throat. I'm worried about whether this could lead to any lung diseases or even cancer. Could you please let me know if these symptoms are related and if I should be concerned about any serious health issues?

I'm a long-time smoker, and I'm starting to focus more on my health recently. I've managed to cut down on smoking a bit. I don't have any breathing issues at the moment, but I usually get routine blood tests. I'm thinking it might be a good idea to get a lung checkup too. What do you suggest?
do pulmonary function test for your lung reports
