View allMy mom has grade 4 piles with both internal and external hemorrhoids that stay outside all the time. She bleeds a lot and has severe pain during bowel movements. The doctor recommended laser surgery in 3 sessions can this be treated with meds instead or is surgery the only option? Also, is it possible to do it in just one session?

Can homeopathy treat anal fistula or are there any non-surgical options to manage it? I'm really hoping to avoid surgery if possible
Most anal fistulas will require surgery to fix. Spontaneous healing is usually followed by recurring infections and abscesses that reopen the fistula. However, if your fistula is caused by inflammatory bowel disease and isn't infected, it'll occasionally heal with medical treatment.

I've had thrombosed piles for the past week and the pain is unbearable can't sit or walk properly. The doctor recommended surgery to remove them but I'm worried because I already had hemorrhoid surgery back in 2012. Is another surgery really necessary or are there other options to manage this?
Recurrent thrombosed piles with severe pain may require surgery if conservative treatments fail; a second surgery is possible but alternatives like laser can be considered.
