I've been diagnosed with a 9.5mm stone in the upper left ureter and swelling in my left kidney. The pain is severe and daily. My doctor recommended Siddh Pan D, painkillers, and immediate surgery. Is surgery the only option or can I wait? How much time do I have before it gets worse? Are there other treatments I can try?

9.5 mm stone is difficult to pass on itself or with medications. For pain u can take tab drotin twice a day..there r two options for stone removal..either ureteroscopic stone removal or shockwave Lithotripsy..for that CT urography needs to be done to decide treatment modality.. serum creatinine also needs to be done
