10 years ago, I was diagnosed and treated for Hodgkin lymphoma. After one year of ABVD chemotherapy, my report was normal. What is the chance it will come back? Do I need any checkups, and if yes, please mention them.

After 10 years of remission, risk of recurrence is low. But routine follow up is still advised. Report any new persistent symptoms.

View allNine years ago, I had an infection following a dog bite, which caused my eosinophils to increase significantly, and I was on bed rest for 8 months. Since then, I have been doing a CBC test every year. I have noticed that my WBC and platelets have been decreasing year after year, and I randomly experience body itching. My WBC and platelets have now fallen to the lower margins. Why is this happening? Does the infection from 9 years ago have any role in this, or is there some other reason? I have consulted many doctors and searched online, but I cannot understand the reason. Can anyone help me understand this?

Dear Doctor, an 8 year old girl has been suffering from fever, and her blood report shows a haemoglobin level of 10.1, a total leukocyte count of 3700, and a C reactive protein level of 22 mg per dL. I am concerned about these results and would like to know if this situation is an emergency.
