A 32 year old man is suffering from acute fever for the last 10 days. Temperature is 100 to 101 degrees F sometimes. His blood report is attached. He is taking Ofloxacin 200 mg twice a day. What is the case? Please advise.

Fever persisting despite ofloxacin needs review. Check CBC, ESR, CRP, blood culture, and consider typhoid test or TB workup if indicated. Avoid overusing antibiotics blindly.

View allI have had a fever for the last 3 days. I tested for COVID, typhoid, and malaria, all are negative. When I take paracetamol, the fever goes down for 6 hours, then rises again to 101 degrees F. It is now the 4th day. What should I do? I have attached my blood test report. I am attaching my report. Is it normal after C section? It has been a week only. Also I am having fever 100 degrees F. Or are there chances of covid?

I consulted a doctor, and he said it is viral fever. My blood test report came normal, and he prescribed some medications. However, after taking the medicine, I feel better for about 3 to 4 hours, but after 6 to 7 hours, the fever returns with a severe headache that is hard to control.
