A 32 year old man is suffering from acute fever for the last 10 days. Temperature is 100 to 101 degrees F sometimes. His blood report is attached. He is taking Ofloxacin 200 mg twice a day. What is the case? Please advise.

Fever persisting despite ofloxacin needs review. Check CBC, ESR, CRP, blood culture, and consider typhoid test or TB workup if indicated. Avoid overusing antibiotics blindly.
Dr. Siri Suggests...
Take a CBC+ESR Test or Take a CRP Test (C - Reactive Protein) Test

View allI am a 27 year old female working professional. I go to the office at 5 PM and return home around 3 AM. I have been experiencing a fever every night, with temperatures around 100 to 101F, which goes away in the morning. I also feel extremely tired, with constant muscle aches and fatigue. I have undergone tests for typhoid and a CBC, which were normal, but the nightly fever has persisted for the last 3 to 4 months. Additionally, I have experienced significant unintentional weight loss. I am unsure what to do next. Could you please advise?
