A 4 year old boy has 10 sores on his lips and cheeks with fever for the past 5 days. I am sending the blood report. Please check and give advice? Medicines from the local doctor have not helped in curing the condition.

Likely viral stomatitis or herpetic infection. Needs evaluation if sores persist or child is unable to eat or drink. Maintain hydration.
Dr. Ezhilarasan Suggests...
Take a COMPLETE BLOOD COUNT (CBC) Test or Take a HERPES SIMPLEX VIRUS (HSV) TYPE 1&2 IgM Test

View allHello Doctor, I have attached my report for your review. I am 33 years old, and the doctor has mentioned surgery as a possible treatment option, including the removal of my uterus and ovaries. If my uterus and ovaries are removed, will there be any long term health issues? Will it affect my life expectancy?

Dear doctor, recently I fell sick and had fever and body pain. In fact, all my family members fell sick. My mother was diagnosed as dengue and typhoid positive. My daughters completely recovered. Their blood test results were negative for dengue, malaria, and typhoid. I was the last one to get sick. My test results for typhoid and malaria turned negative. On 02 Dec, Dengue IgM was negative (1.39 units) and IgG was equivocal (20.06 units) with platelets 1.40 lakhs/cmm. On 04 Dec, I again took a retest without my doctor knowledge. The results this time were: Dengue IgM 3.20 units (negative), IgG 52.46 units (positive), platelets 1.38 lakhs/cmm. Is there anything to be worried about, doctor? I would be glad if someone can explain why the IgG values have doubled? Thanks.
