  1. Standard Dosage:

    • The usual dose for Ipill is a single 1.5 mg tablet taken as soon as possible after unprotected intercourse.
  2. Effectiveness and Safety:

    • Taking more than the recommended dose does not increase effectiveness and may increase side effects like nausea or irregular bleeding.
  3. Consult a Doctor:

    • If two pills are taken accidentally or if there's uncertainty about the dosage, consult a healthcare professional.
  4. Alternative Options:

    • For repeated emergency contraception within the same cycle, seek medical advice for safe options.

Always follow the prescribed guidelines for emergency contraception and consider regular contraceptive methods for ongoing protection. If unusual symptoms occur, seek medical attention promptly.

I'm a bit worried and need some advice. My last menstrual period was on May 10, and I started Clomid on May 16, following my gynecologist's advice. I have hypothyroidism with TSH at 2.74, normal T3 and T4 levels, but my anti-TPO is quite high at 500. My period is now over 70 days late. A urine pregnancy test was negative on the 55th day, and the ultrasound showed 5 cysts on my ovaries. My gynecologist then prescribed Meprate 10mg. But today, I took another urine pregnancy test, and it came out positive. I'm confused because I've only had contact with my husband on July 8 and in May. Could this be a pregnancy? If so, what should I do next? When should I actually see my gynecologist again? And is there any risk to my pregnancy if Ive been on Meprate? Could you please guide me?

I'm wondering if it's necessary to have a stitch again during my second pregnancy. I had one during my first pregnancy but I don't think I have cervical incompetence. The first time, I didn't really have a choice, but now I'm considering not having it. Could there be any risks to my baby if I skip it this time? I'm also concerned if the previous stitch might have caused any damage to my cervix.

The need for a cerclage in your second pregnancy depends on whether you have risk factors like cervical insufficiency or a history of preterm birth. If you dont have those issues, a cerclage may not be necessary. Speak with your doctor to assess the need for monitoring
