My sister recently had a CRP test, and her results showed a value of 11 to 12 mg/L, which the report mentions as highly positive. I started researching CRP levels online and became very worried, as I read that CRP above 4 mg/L can be associated with serious conditions like heart disease and cancer. My sister has a 4 month old baby, and her doctor has recommended one tablet to help reduce the CRP level, but mentioned that it may alter the taste of her breast milk. Could you please advise what should be done to safely reduce her CRP levels, considering she is breastfeeding? Are there lifestyle or dietary measures that can help lower CRP naturally?

I tested positive for COVID 19 on 6th May and started the prescribed medications. My blood reports on 11th May showed CRP 12 mg per L and D Dimer 1.730 mg per L. I began steroids (Medrol) in a tapering dose schedule, and my 16th May report showed CRP 1.62 mg per L and D Dimer 0.04 mg per L. I am currently on the second dose of steroids and have no symptoms. I am continuing the steroid course and would like advice on how to safely boost my immunity.

I am 13 weeks pregnant and had a fever. The doctor gave me a blood test, and I am sending my report. I have a low TWBC count in my blood. Is this a problem for me or my baby?

Can you please let me know if the attached lab report is normal or not? My mother is 50 years old and her CRP is 8.4 mg/l. Is that serious? Please refer to the attachment?

CRP is a marker of inflammation. A value of 8.4 mg/L is mildly elevated and may indicate infection or inflammation. Please consult a doctor to evaluate the cause.
