I am worried because I recently delivered and am concerned about being pregnant again so soon. Could you please advise if this result is likely valid, and what steps I should take next?

Mam I had unprotected sex on 2nd October. She got her periods on 8th October with normal periods. If I want to be fully 100 percent assured that she is not pregnant what to do and when to do? Hello doctor, I had spotting, thread-like, once a day on 7, 8, and 9 DPO, then it stopped. Again, from 13 DPO, I am having brown discharge. Today, on 15 DPO, I am having a little more discharge. I am also suffering from mild to moderate back pain since 4 DPO and today I had light cramps on and off. My period is late by 4 days. I took a pregnancy test at 12 DPO but it was negative. What may be the reason for these symptoms and on and off spotting?

My girlfriend last menstrual period was on 27th April, and her cycle is usually 45 to 48 days. We had intercourse in May. She took a 5 day course of Meprate 10 mg to try to bring her period early, but it has not started. While on the medication, she took a home pregnancy test, which showed a very faint, almost colorless line (possibly an evaporation line). She repeated the test after 5 days, and it was negative. Could she still be pregnant?
