Dear respected doctors, I have been facing reduced urine output. When I drink water, it takes 1 or 2 hours to urinate. Earlier, it used to take hardly 15 to 20 minutes, but now it is sometimes normal and sometimes very little. My water intake is approximately 2 liters. Recently, my blood test showed urea 18.9 mg/dl and serum creatinine 0.60. USG KUB shows fatty liver grade 1, mild features of PCOD, and a simple renal cortical cyst measuring 35x40 mm. My question is, are any of these findings causing this trouble or do I have a kidney problem? Please provide appropriate guidance.

Your blood urea and creatinine are normal, indicating good kidney function currently. A simple renal cortical cyst usually does not affect urination unless it is very large, which your size is not concerning. Mild PCOD and fatty liver do not directly affect urine flow. Variable urine timing may be due to hydration levels, weather, or mild hormonal factors. Increase water intake to 2.5 to 3 liters if possible and monitor urine output. You can book a Urine Routine and Microscopy test to check for infections or other urine related issues.

Hi, seven days ago I masturbated roughly, and since then I have been experiencing pain and a burning sensation around my penis/genital area. My groin and buttocks also feel unusually warm. I do not have pain while urinating, and there is no blood or discharge. I have started taking antibiotics, but the symptoms persist. My urine test came back negative. Is it normal to have these symptoms for a week, or could it be something other than urethritis?
