Diagnosed with dengue today and already hospitalized. I was admitted on Tuesday evening for a viral infection. Blood reports were done on Monday, Thursday, and today. My platelet count dropped from 1.8 to 0.90, and now it is 0.28. After that, the dengue test came back positive. Please suggest what should be done.

Your platelet count is critically low, which can be dangerous in dengue. Immediate hospital care, fluid intake, and rest are essential. Avoid painkillers like ibuprofen. Monitor daily platelet count and overall health closely. Consult your doctor regularly.

Take a COMPLETE BLOOD COUNT (CBC) Test or Take a DENGUE SEROLOGY RAPID (IgM AND NS1 ANTIGEN) - KA Test

My husband has had a continuous fever for the past 3 days, with temperatures ranging from 98.8F to 100.5F. He also has cold and cough. Blood tests for malaria and typhoid are normal. CBC and urine routine tests are also normal. Despite taking antibiotics and paracetamol, the fever persists. Could you please advise what might be causing this and what steps we should take next?
