  1. Yes, uterine fibroids can cause heavy menstrual bleeding.

    • Fibroids may alter uterine contractions and increase the uterine lining's surface area, leading to more bleeding.
  2. Monitor Symptoms:

    • Look for signs like quickly soaking through pads/tampons, large clots, or fatigue from blood loss.
  3. Consult a Gynecologist:

    • Discuss symptoms with a healthcare provider for evaluation and treatment options.

If you have concerns, seeing a specialist is recommended for personalized advice and care.

I'm really concerned about what's going on with my vulva. It feels really itchy and sensitive, and I've noticed I keep getting these cuts or tears where my labia minora attaches. Sometimes they even bleed. The area around my vulva, especially where the hair starts, is really dry and looks white, plus it's super itchy. There's this white layer covering the vulva, and the whole area seems unusually dry. On top of that, there's a foul smell that I can't ignore. What could be causing all these symptoms, and what should I do about it?

It sounds like you may be experiencing symptoms of a yeast infection or a bacterial infection in the vulva area. I recommend using an antifungal cream such as Clotrimazole 1% cream twice a day on the affected areas. Additionally, you can take an oral antifungal medication like Fluconazole 150mg as a single dose. Keep the area clean and dry, and avoid using scented products or harsh soaps. If the symptoms persist, please follow up with your healthcare provider for further evaluation and management.

I'm in my ninth month of pregnancy and I've been having a really hard time with constipation. Drinking a lot of water doesn't seem to help much. Even when I take 15ml of Duphalac syrup at night, I'm still struggling to pass stool and have to push really hard. Are there any home remedies or other suggestions you could give me to help with this?

I'm 14 weeks pregnant and just had a cervical cerclage because my cervix measures 2.4cm. My doctor said I had a vaginal infection and recommended using Cansoft vaginal suppositories for three days. I inserted the Cansoft last night and noticed a watery discharge mixed with some remnants of the capsule. This morning, I still felt a little wet with more watery discharge. Is this something normal after using Cansoft, or should I be worried about a possible water leak?
