Question
Doctor, usually my wife menstrual cycle is between 30 to 35 days. Her last period was on 25th September. Still today, 9th November, her period has not come. Today is her 46th day. Upon checking UPT, we could see a light pink second line within 5 minutes of the test. She is also suffering from mild white discharge. Please let me know if this is a sign of pregnancy?

A faint pink second line on the urine pregnancy test (UPT), especially if it appears within 5 minutes, is generally considered positive. Since your wifes cycle is already 46 days and her usual range is 30 to 35 days, pregnancy is very likely. Mild white discharge is common in early pregnancy. You can repeat the UPT in 2 days (first morning urine) or confirm with a Beta HCG blood test for accurate results.
