Question
During pregnancy, thyroid was detected. I was taking 25 mg tablets as prescribed by my gynecologist during pregnancy. Now my son is 2 years old, and a blood test was done 3 days ago. The test was Free TSH, Free T3, and Free T4. T3 and T4 are within range, but TSH is raised to 7.25. What should I do? The blood report is attached here. Please guide.

This indicates subclinical hypothyroidism. Dose may need to be increased. Please take a repeat TSH in 4to6 weeks and Anti-TPO antibodies.
Dr. Bhanu Suggests...
Take a THYROID STIMULATING HORMONE (TSH) Test or Take a THYROID PEROXIDASE ANTIBODIES (ANTI MICROSOMAL ANTIBODIES) Test
