Question
Eight days ago, my urine output suddenly decreased to about 75 ml in a whole day. I consulted a nephrologist, and my report shows PRO (+1), BIL (+2), BLD (+1), with cortical echogenicity grade 1 on both kidneys. What does this mean, and what is happening with me?

These findings suggest acute kidney dysfunction. Grade 1 cortical echogenicity may mean mild chronic kidney changes. Bilirubin and protein in urine are abnormal. Immediate nephrology follow up and renal function monitoring are critical.

Take a BUN Test (Blood Urea Nitrogen) Test or Take a eGFR Test (Estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate) Test
