A few months ago I was facing difficulty while breathing. After doing some tests, it was found that my eosinophils count was higher due to food allergies (potato, tomato). I took some medicine and stopped eating the foods causing problems as per the report. After some time, everything was fine and I started eating these food items again without problems. But for the last 2 to 3 days, I am again having difficulties in breathing. My blood test report shows eosinophils are normal, but there is a slight mild increase in lymphocyte count. What should I do now?

Recurrence may indicate allergy or mild viral infection. Even with normal eosinophils, food triggers can still cause symptoms. Avoid known allergens. Consider antihistamines and consult an allergist or pulmonologist.

Take a CBC Test (Complete Blood Count) Test or Take a IgE Test Test

Hello Doctor, I have been suffering from food allergies for the last 2 to 3 years. According to my blood report, I am allergic to foods like lemon, orange, lady finger, eggs, clove, yeast, and paper dust. Because of these allergies, I experience skin itching on different parts of my body at any time. I have consulted many doctors, but the itching returns once the medication is finished. Please guide me on the treatment, diet, or medicines I should take and which specialist I should consult. Thank you. I am eagerly waiting for your valuable advice.
