Yes they are same until you are referring to consumption of glucose test which is done during random or post prandial.

My father has been having diabetes for the last 3 years but he never consulted any doctor. From the blood report we came to know that his sugar level is above 350. He is also having teeth sensitivity problems but the doctor said sugar must be reduced first, then only treatment can be done. In Dehradun I am unable to find any doctor for diabetes?
