A blood test report shows hemoglobin 10.4 gm percent and ESR (Wintrobe) 38 mm/st. There are no malaria or dengue symptoms. The physician said it is one of the typhoid symptoms, but in typhoid there should not be an itching problem. What could this be?

Please advise what should be done now, what he should eat, and how to take care of him during this fever.

Fever with body pain could suggest viral illness like dengue or chikungunya. If symptoms persist, do a CBC, dengue NS1, and CRP. Continue hydration and paracetamol. If report is abnormal, consult a doctor.
