Hello doctor, my husband blood test report shows monocytes at 11 percent. Could you please explain what this means? What could be the reason for it, and what steps should I take next? I am really worried.

Mildly high, may indicate past infection or mild inflammation. Usually not serious unless other counts are abnormal.

I have major health issues and my body is not becoming healthy like a normal body as per age. I used to take juice and also ate chicken etc but I see no effect of these protein diets. My weight is not increasing, my skin is becoming dull and I am facing weight loss. I am not getting a solution to this problem. What should I do to come out of this issue? I had also done all the x rays and some 2 to 3 mm stones were found in my report on the left side of my stomach.

I have lab results of WBC 12.4, platelets 470, MPV 7.1, lymphocytes 3.5. Is this a cause of concern? Please note I also have allergies and I did have a flu shot right before having the blood work done.
