Hello Doctor, My husband got 8 to 10 per high power field epithelial cells in his urine test. He had appendicitis three years ago. He is now getting pain in the lower abdomen. Please tell me, is this a serious condition or is it okay?

8 to 10 epithelial cells in urine could mean a mild infection or unclean sample. Lower abdominal pain may suggest UTI or post surgery adhesions (since he had appendicitis). Do a Urine Culture and Ultrasound to rule out deeper causes.

Take a URINE ROUTINE + CULTURE SENSITIVITY Test

View allMy father was hospitalized for a urinary tract infection and treated with cefox and augmentin. He recovered for one week but at that time pus cells and RBC were present in the urine report and TLC was 13900. Then after eight days fever repeated and TLC was 13000 but urine was clear. He was treated with ampicillin 500 four times. Now after eight days fever has repeated. What will be the cause? Urine culture is negative. There is some increase in the prostate. A stone is seen in the gallbladder. Every Monday fever repeats.

Dear Doctor, I have been diagnosed with a UTI and have attached my blood reports. Could you please help me understand what the reports indicate? I would also like to know what steps I should take next. I prefer to avoid medications if possible. Are there any home remedies that could help? Thank you.

As soon as I drink water, it becomes urine within half an hour, and I feel the urge to go to the bathroom very often. I feel like my body is not absorbing the water properly and it goes straight into my bladder. I also feel pain due to frequent urination. This problem becomes worse when I masturbate or have sex. I sometimes feel itching and moisture near that area, even though I keep it clean. Earlier, when I went to the hospital for this problem, there was a minor UTI in the test report, and the doctor prescribed antibiotics. Now, I am not sure if it is the same problem this time or something else. If it is the same, I want to know why it keeps happening and what I can do to prevent it? Thanks in advance for helping me clear my doubts.
