Hello, my aunt recovered from viral fever last week. She is not under any medication now. However, for the last 2 to 3 days, she has developed severe headache and nausea. On checking with a local physician, she was advised to do TSH, T3, and T4 tests. Previously, she was under medication for high TSH but stopped the medication a few months ago thinking everything was normal and feeling fine. The fresh test today shows TSH 18.77, T3 117, and T4 9.4. The reports indicate a high TSH level. She is worried and needs help.

High TSH indicates significant hypothyroidism. Restart thyroxine under guidance. Monitor Free T3, Free T4, and TSH. Symptoms will improve with correction.
