Hello, in my complete blood test report the WBC count is 11,500 and platelets are 5,02,000, both slightly on the higher side. The other values are normal. What could be the reason for these high values?

Mildly high counts may be due to infection, inflammation, or recovery from illness. If you are asymptomatic, monitor. Repeat CBC after 1 to 2 weeks.
Dr. Bhanu Suggests...
Take a CBC Test (Complete Blood Count) Test or Take a CRP Test (C - Reactive Protein) Test

Dear Doctor, an 8 year old girl has been suffering from fever, and her blood report shows a haemoglobin level of 10.1, a total leukocyte count of 3700, and a C reactive protein level of 22 mg per dL. I am concerned about these results and would like to know if this situation is an emergency.
