View allMy doctor said one side of my anal sphincter is too tight and prescribed meds, but mentioned surgery if it doesn't work. Are there other options besides surgery or any tips to help loosen it naturally?
Yes, there are options besides surgery to address a tight anal sphincter. I'm a 23-year-old guy and lately, I've noticed this really unusual smell in my stool for the past 10 to 15 days. It's not like the usual odor, and I can't even begin to describe it. On top of that, I've been dealing with constipation off and on. Other than these issues, I feel okay. I should mention that a couple of months ago, I had a colonoscopy and an endoscopy because of some abdomen pain, but everything came back normal. Is this something I should be worried about?
Its good that your colonoscopy and endoscopy were normal. A change in stool odor, along with occasional constipation, could be related to diet or mild digestive issues, but if the symptoms persist or worsen, it's worth checking in with your doctor again to rule out any underlying concerns.

I drank water right before going to bed last night and didn't wait before sleeping. Could this lead to any issues like digestive problems? Or is it totally fine? Just want to make sure I'm not unknowingly doing something unhealthy.
no it is fine
