Hi Doctor, I have been dealing with a mild thyroid issue (TSH 5.0) for the past 8 months. Recently, I noticed dry skin, so I repeated the thyroid test, and now my TSH is 7.8. How concerning is this? Can it be managed through nutrition, meditation, and exercise, or should I consult a doctor as soon as possible? I would greatly appreciate your advice. Please refer to the attached screenshot of my test report.

Long term thyroid imbalance needs regular monitoring. Share your full thyroid profile with a doctor for dosage adjustment or evaluation of symptoms. Do not self treat.

View allI am 28 years old. Over the past few months, I have been losing weight steadily, and my skin has become darker. I also have minor sinus issues but no major medical conditions. My parents both have diabetes, so I recently got tested, but my blood sugar levels were normal. I work in IT with a stressful night shift schedule. Please suggest how I can gain weight and maintain healthy skin. I have never had any skin allergies in the past.

I had thyroid problems, so I underwent surgery. My question is, do I still have to continue my thyroid tablets or not? Thank you.

I have recently undergone a thyroid test. My TSH and T3 are within the normal range, and T4 is also normal but on the higher side. Is this a cause for concern? I am attaching the lab report for your reference.
