Hi Doctor, I have been experiencing fever and headache without any cough, runny nose, or sore throat. I consulted a doctor who initially suspected dengue and advised me to take paracetamol. However, after receiving my lab report, it shows no signs of dengue. The concern is that for the past few days, my fever only goes down temporarily with paracetamol. What could be the cause, and what should I do next?

This could be a viral fever or post viral fatigue. Dengue ruled out is reassuring. Continue hydration and paracetamol as needed. Monitor temperature and energy levels.

View allHi Doctor, My mother has high blood pressure and thyroid issues. In the past, she has undergone multiple surgeries, including three hernia operations, appendix removal, and a sterilization procedur, around 11 operations in total. Could you please advise about COVID19 vaccination for her? Specifically, which tests should be done before vaccination, and what parameters in the blood report should be within normal limits?

My 8 month old niece has had a persistent fever for the past 2 weeks. It normalizes when given antipyretics but recurs every 8 to 10 hours. She has a normal diet but sometimes skips meals. She has also vomited 2 to 3 times. A blood test report showed a high lymphocyte count of 58. She traveled about 400 km last week, although comfortably. Could this affect her condition? What could be the reason, and what do you suggest? Thank you in advance.
