Hi Doctor. I have been observing a faint pink line four days after my missed period. I did a beta HCG test on the fifth day of my missed period, and the reading was 106.7. Can this be considered positive?

Beta hCG 106.7, which means early pregnancy. Faint pink line likely positive. Repeat Beta hCG in 48 to 72 hrs to check doubling. See gynecologist for early pregnancy care. Plan scan at 6 to 7 weeks.

View allI am 38 years old and trying for my second baby. I usually ovulate late, and my gynecologist prescribed Duphaston and Ecosprin after ovulation. I have missed my period and tested on the 3rd day after my due date, but the result was negative. From the 5th day onward, I have been experiencing spotting and passing dark brown clots daily. Could I still be pregnant, and should I take another pregnancy test?
