Hi doctor, my mother was previously diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. Recently, we received her blood reports. Kindly review them and suggest further diagnosis and appropriate medications to take.

Since your mother has a history of hyperthyroidism, regular thyroid monitoring is important. Please check TSH, Free T3, and Free T4 values in her report. If any values are abnormal, consult an endocrinologist for medicine adjustment. Also monitor her heart rate, sleep pattern, and weight changes.

View allHey there, I have been experiencing chest pain for the last 15 to 20 days, along with some swelling around the rib cage bone. After researching, I found that my symptoms closely match Tietze syndrome or costochondritis. The pain is especially severe whenever I wake up from any resting position. I have attached an image from Google showing the exact area of swelling. My recent test report shows a TSH level of 7.2, while T3 and T4 are within normal limits. Please advise what home remedies I can try and whether I should consult a general physician or a cardiovascular specialist.
