Hi doctors. I have done TSH testing for the first time. My report shows 33.574. I do not have any symptoms of high TSH. I am not able to understand why it is high. Should I do another TSH test?

TSH is high, indicating hypothyroidism. It needs confirmation. Repeat the test and consult an endocrinologist.
Dr. Yusuf Suggests...
Take a TSH Test (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) Test or Take a THYROID PEROXIDASE ANTIBODIES (ANTI MICROSOMAL ANTIBODIES) Test

View all8 months back my TSH was 4.5 and I am taking 87.5 mg for the past 2 years. Today my TSH is 9. My doctor is out of town. Can you please check my report and tell me if I can go for 100 mg and for how many months? Because my doctor keeps switching in between 87.5 and 100 mg. Does TSH level increase during monthly cycle? Kindly help with the dosage.

I am taking Thyronorm 75 mg for thyroid. In my current thyroid blood report, T3 is 86 ng/dl, T4 is 6 ng/dl, and TSH is 10.65 nIU/ml. My TSH is high. What should I do to control TSH, and do I need to increase my tablet from 75 mg to 100 mg? I am also very lean. Is this due to thyroid? Please suggest how I can gain some weight?

I have extremely low TSH hormone. Does it mean that I have a thyroid disease? I have heard that it is not treatable and causes a lot of weight gain. Is it true in my case? For reference, I am attaching relevant details from my report. Thyroid profile: T3 125, T4 8.4, TSH 0.08.
