Question

Hi, I have done urine and blood tests, and the results are normal. However, I am still having foamy urine, mostly in the morning. Can you please suggest what to do next? I also work out and take whey protein.

Foamy urine with normal tests can occur due to dehydration, fast urination, or high protein intake from whey protein. Ensure you drink enough water throughout the day. If foamy urine persists or increases, do a Urine Albumin to Creatinine Ratio (ACR) test to check for protein leakage in urine, especially if you have a family history of kidney issues. Reduce whey protein temporarily to observe changes.

Dr. Yusuf Suggests...

Take a Urine ACR Test Test or Take a KFT with Electrolytes (Kidney Funtion) Test
