Hi, I have missed my period for 6 days. When I checked with an HPT, it was positive, and the test line is much darker than the control line. I am having mild pain and a sensation on one side of my abdomen. Is this normal? The pain is very mild, but I am worried if this could be a serious issue?

A dark positive HPT usually confirms pregnancy. Mild pain on one side can be normal in early stages. To rule out issues like ectopic pregnancy, do a Serum beta hCG Test and Pelvic Ultrasound. These confirm location and health of the pregnancy.
