Hi, I recently had my thyroid stimulating hormone tested using ECLIA. The adult reference range is 0.3 to 5.5, and my TSH level is 5.69. I am 24 years old and underweight. Could you please help me understand the results of this thyroid test and if any treatment or further action is needed?

Your TSH level is slightly elevated, indicating possible early hypothyroidism. Being underweight could also be linked to metabolic issues. Consult an endocrinologist to confirm diagnosis and assess if treatment is needed.
