Hi, I usually have irregular periods, sometimes as infrequent as once in 15 days. I consulted a doctor, who examined my reports and mentioned an initial stage of PCOD, prescribing medication for 2 months. After taking the medicines, my periods were normal. My first period after marriage was normal, but now the same problem has returned. I have taken a pregnancy test, and it is negative.

Irregular cycles and frequent periods can be linked to PCOD. Since you had regular cycles post marriage and now symptoms have returned, a follow up with your gynecologist is needed. Hormonal imbalance may be the cause. PCOD can be managed with lifestyle changes and medications.

My last period was on 5th August, but I did not get my period by 5th Sept. I visited a doctor, and she prescribed Prevent N tablet for 3 days, but my period did not start by 9th Sept, so I did a serum hCG test, which came back as less than 1.20 mIU/mL. Even today, I still have not had my period. What should I do next?
