My last period was on 5th August, but I did not get my period by 5th Sept. I visited a doctor, and she prescribed Prevent N tablet for 3 days, but my period did not start by 9th Sept, so I did a serum hCG test, which came back as less than 1.20 mIU/mL. Even today, I still have not had my period. What should I do next?

Since the Beta HCG test is negative, pregnancy is ruled out. If your period did not start even after taking Prevent N, it may be due to a hormonal issue like PCOD, thyroid imbalance, or stress. A follow up with your doctor is important they may advise a hormone panel and pelvic ultrasound to check for underlying causes.

My period was due on March 18, but I missed it. After waiting 7 days, I took Regestrone twice a day for 5 days. Bleeding started 3 days after stopping the pills, but the flow is very light, red in color, and not brown. I am not experiencing spotting, and my pregnancy test is negative.
