My period was due on March 18, but I missed it. After waiting 7 days, I took Regestrone twice a day for 5 days. Bleeding started 3 days after stopping the pills, but the flow is very light, red in color, and not brown. I am not experiencing spotting, and my pregnancy test is negative. Why am I having such a light flow?

Light bleeding after Regestrone is common. Not all withdrawal bleeds are heavy. It does not indicate pregnancy. Repeat Beta hCG to confirm. Also check TSH, FSH, Prolactin for hormone imbalance.
Dr. Shaik Suggests...
Take a Beta HCG Test Test or Take a TSH Test (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) Test

View allMy last period was on 5th August, but I did not get my period by 5th Sept. I visited a doctor, and she prescribed Prevent N tablet for 3 days, but my period did not start by 9th Sept, so I did a serum hCG test, which came back as less than 1.20 mIU/mL. Even today, I still have not had my period. What should I do next?

I took 3 tablets till now but my periods have not come yet. What could be the reason?
