Hi, my blood sugar levels are high. According to the latest test report, fasting blood sugar is 190 mg/dL and postprandial is 340 mg/dL. I am already on medication, but my sugar levels are still very high.

Recently, I had a diagnostic test done for insurance purposes. I was diagnosed with a fasting blood sugar of 164 and an HbA1c level of 9, and my insurance was rejected stating that I am diabetic. I would like to know more since no doctor opinion was taken?
