Hi, one of my LFT tests shows SGOT as 70 with a reference range of 15 to 37 and SGPT as 200 with a reference range of 16 to 63. Another lab test shows SGOT as 83 with a normal range of 0 to 40 and SGPT as 176 with a normal range of 0 to 36. Can someone please help me understand which values are worse? Is the second lab test worse than the first? Which values are higher?

Both labs show elevated liver enzymes (SGOT/SGPT), even if ranges differ. Higher SGPT suggests liver stress possibly fatty liver, alcohol, or medicines. Do Liver Ultrasound and rule out hepatitis. Reduce oily food, alcohol, painkillers. Follow up with LFT after 2 weeks.

I have been suffering from high fever for 1 week and recently got my tests done. My SGOT is 118 and SGPT is 217. I had been consuming alcohol continuously for a week, including the day before the test. Additionally, my lymphocyte percentage is 47percent, while all other test results are normal. My SGPT is 25, SGOT is 19, and alkaline phosphatase is 371. Bilirubin is 3.03. What could be the reason for high alkaline phosphatase? I have attached my report. If gallstones are the reason, what could be their size according to the report?
