Hi, For the past year, I have been feeling mentally unwell. I used to masturbate regularly, but recently I have experienced a loss of erections. I have undergone all relevant medical tests, and all reports came back normal. I also notice that I do not feel any emotions or arousal when watching pornography or sexual content. Could you please suggest what might be causing this and how I can overcome this problem?

Loss of erection and emotional dullness without physical issues often point to psychological or hormonal causes. If all tests are normal, the issue may relate to performance anxiety, excessive stimulation (like porn), or even early signs of depression. Avoid comparing past performance, reduce porn exposure, and maintain a healthy routine. Its important to consult a psychiatrist or psychologist. Therapy often helps restore both mental and sexual well being. You may also check Testosterone Levels if not already done.

How to get examined for erectile dysfunction?

Hi, I am 25 years old and have a long history of habitual masturbation. Recently, I have been experiencing some erection problems: either difficulty getting an erection or inability to sustain it. I have done hormone tests, and the results are: Testosterone: 452 ng/dL Free Testosterone: 16.60 pg/mL LH: 6.09 mIU/mL Estradiol (E2): 61.9 pg/mL FSH: 7.33 mIU/mL My doctor has suggested a penile Doppler test. Based on my hormone test results, is this test necessary, or can it be skipped? Please advise
