I had a similar problem before pregnancy, and my gynecologist had prescribed medication that resolved it. My question is, why is this problem recurring now, and is it likely to happen again in the future? Please advise.

White discharge with odour may indicate a vaginal infection. Recurrence is common in pregnancy due to hormonal changes. Follow up with your gynecologist for treatment. Antibacterial treatment will be given by doctor suitably.
