Hi sir, I have been undergoing treatment for MDR TB and have been regularly taking all prescribed medications as per my doctor instructions. These include Monopas, Ethio 250, Mycotuf C 250 mg, Levofloxacin, Benadon, Sompraz D, and Clotas EH. My recent chest X ray report shows that the left hilar shadow appears prominent. However, my blood test results are mostly normal, except for an elevated TSH level of 7.080, for which I take one tablet of Thyrox 100 daily. Please let me know what the prominent hilar shadow on the chest X ray might indicate and what steps should be taken next.

Even if your TB is cured, old tissue scarring, fibrosis, or enlarged lymph nodes may remain for a long time or even permanently. So, your Chest Xray may not return to normal, but this does not mean you still have an ongoing active TB infection. TSH is slightly high, but it is ok since you are already on anti thyroid medication. Get Thyroid profile tests after 2 months.

My report says thyronormalcy and my fasting blood sugar is 104.8. However, I am having symptoms like weight gain, inch loss, loss of appetite, insomnia and increased thirst. Nilesh here. I have been suffering from hyperthyroidism for more than 2 years and am under treatment with Dr. Archana Juneja at Kokilaben Ambani Hospital. Despite treatment, my thyroid levels have not normalized. My latest report shows T3: 540.85, T4: 23.00, and TSH: less than 0.008. Please suggest what should be done next?
