Hi sir or madam, for the last 3 months, my baby motions are watery, sometimes semi solid, and sometimes semi solid with mucus. It happens daily up to 8 times. I have attached the report in this mail. Please share what kind of problem this could be. The doctor told us to stop breastfeeding. Is this correct? What should I do? My baby is 6 months old.

Breastfeeding should not be stopped without strong evidence. Frequent motions may be due to lactose intolerance or gut infection. Please consult a pediatric gastroenterologist with the stool report. Hydration is crucial.

Despite taking gastric medication, the pain continues. Please advise on what could be causing this ongoing discomfort and what further steps or tests should be considered.
