How often do you do a blood test in hypothyroidism?

In hypothyroidism, a TSH test once a year will check that levels are within the reference range. In hyperthyroidism the usual tests are TSH and FT4; how often these take place will depend on the treatment

His recent blood test results are: T3: 90.55 ng/dL (normal range for above 50 yrs: 40 to 181 ng/dL) T4: 4.7 microgram/dL (normal range for above 60 yrs: 5 to 10.7 microgram/dL) TSH: 20.9 microIU/mL (normal range for 55 to 87 yrs: 0.5 to 8.9 microIU/mL) Should his dose be changed or kept the same? If it needs adjustment, what should the new dose be?

Her recent lab test results are: CRP: 3.52 Lipoprotein: 98 TSH: 6.58 HbA1c: 6.6 High cholesterol She also has chronic asthma and has been taking medication for hypothyroidism since 2019. Additionally, she is taking iron and multivitamins, and her doctor prescribed BUDAMATE 200 for asthma.
