Hi, my wife, aged 34, has not been feeling well for the last few weeks. She delivered a healthy baby in March 2020 by operation. Her symptoms include hyperacidity, low energy, headache, uneasiness, and occasional vertigo. Her blood test report shows: TSH 4.9, SGPT 68.96, SGOT 31.06, GGT 47.33, Hb 13.1, Platelet count 137. My queries are: how can we increase platelets? How can we get SGPT and SGOT to normal? Is there any connection with TSH? Thanks.

My father is 76 years old and has hypothyroidism. He has been taking Thyronorm 25 mcg daily for more than a year. His recent blood test results are: T3: 90.55 ng/dL (normal range for above 50 yrs: 40 to 181 ng/dL) T4: 4.7 microgram/dL (normal range for above 60 yrs: 5 to 10.7 microgram/dL) TSH: 20.9 microIU/mL (normal range for 55 to 87 yrs: 0.5 to 8.9 microIU/mL) Should his dose be changed or kept the same?
