My aunt is 43 years old and has been diagnosed with a thyroid nodule. Is surgery the only way to treat it? I was considering consulting a homeopath, can homeopathy help cure the nodule without surgery? Are there any naturopathy treatments or home remedies that can help remove it?

Thyroid nodules are common and are not always dangerous. Surgery is not always needed unless the nodule is cancerous, large, or causing symptoms like difficulty swallowing. Most nodules are managed by monitoring with regular scans. Homeopathy or naturopathy does not have proven evidence to shrink thyroid nodules. It is best to consult an endocrinologist for guidance. You can book a Thyroid Profile and FNAC (needle test) of the nodule to check its nature before deciding treatment.

As per the last test report done in February, the results were Serum Free T3 2.35 pg/ml, Serum Free T4 1.21 ng/dl, and Serum TSH 1.10 uIU/ml. Please advice?

I have been taking Thyronorm 12.5 mcg for two months. Due to severe tiredness and sleepy feeling, I repeated TSH and Free T4 tests. TSH is 8.02 (Ref 0.4 to 4.2) and Free T4 is 1.17 (Ref 0.89 to 1.76). Previously, Anti Tg Antibody was high and TPO was normal. I am having tingling in both palms and feet. Fasting blood sugar is 82. I am taking Concor 5 mg for hypertension. Do I require a dose revision or further consultation?
